A BIKER was seriously injured in a crash with a car.
The 41 year-old man from Tonbridge, Kent has been taken to the William Harvey Hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries after his Honda motorbike was in a collision with a Mercedes-Benz car on Monday May 7.
Police and emergency services were called to the A259 near Sea Road, Winchelsea at around 1pm following reports of a head-on collision between the two vehicles.
The driver of the Mercedes, a 67-year-old man from Germany, was uninjured.
PC Simon Rideout from the Road Policing Unit said: "We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle prior to the incident. Please call 101 quoting serial 652 of 7/5.
