A new show is making a splash.
Sussex’s synchronised swimmers celebrate 50 years of James Bond in a show called Eau Eau 7 at the Brighton Fringe show in May.
Over 30 swimmers from Brighton Dolphins and Brighton Swimming Club will perform various routines alongside actors from Peacehaven Community School, telling the story of Bond’s mystery visit to Brighton.
The show is sponsored by digital media company Makemedia.
Ben Dykes, director and James Bond lookalike at the firm in Bond Street, explains, “Two of our staff are taking part in the show and when we heard about the event we wanted to show our support by sponsoring, as well as cheering them on when the day comes. It’s great to be able to support a local group.”
Liz Fitzsimons of Brighton Dolpins said: “This is our fourth annual show in the Brighton Fringe.
“Our secret agent has a new assignment with an Olympic twist. We’ve been learning the routines since January and it’s all coming together nicely.” The show will take place on Saturday, May 12, at 8pm at the Prince Regent Swimming Pool in Jubilee Square, Brighton.
Tickets are available at the Brighton Fringe Festival website and Box Office or Brighton Dome Box Office.
