TRIBUTES have been paid to the dad-of-four who was stabbed to death in a Brighton flat.
Graeme Pethard, 37, who lived in Liverpool, was in Brighton on Friday (May 5).
Police found him stabbed to death in a flat on Taunton Road, Bevendean, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The mum of his children Andrea Miller has paid tribute to the "perfect dad" who doted on his daughters.
Despite their separation four-years-ago Andrea said that he remained an important part of her life.
She said: "He loved his kids. They were his world. He was always happy. He loved everyone – he was there for everyone. He was a family man who was always laughing and joking."
They couple had four children together - Chloe, 13, Kaitlyn, 11, Libby, nine, and Charlea, six.
She added: "They were all daddy's girls. But Charlea was the shadow of him. They would go to the park, go bowling – he would take them wherever.
"We found out on Saturday. It was horrible. The worst thing was telling the kids. The four of them are heartbroken. The baby was saying to me I was lying.
“They are heartbroken. The oldest was saying they keep expecting him to walk through the door. It's horrible, I feel devastated.”
Andrea, 31, said that she met Graeme when she was 15 and soon fell in love with the “cheeky” Liverpool FC fan.
She added that the computer repair shop owner had the club's badge tattooed on his chest after they won the Champion's League in 2005.
