WITH reference to Mr Howson’s concern about parking charges (Letters, April 16), is he aware he can use visitor parking permits?
Although these have just increased in price, they are far cheaper than the £26.50 he states in his letter; and they are valid for 24 hours from the time each permit is put in the vehicle.
He requires two proofs of residency, and can purchase these from Hove Town Hall.
Clifton Terrace is part of the South Central Brighton zone (Z), so Mr Howson could legally park in any street displaying this zone letter.
However, I note that 1 to 33 Clifton Terrace is in Zone Y.
