HOW arrogant of Brighton and Hove City Council to assume people will use other modes of transport to get themselves and their families to the seafront (The Argus, April 4).
In these hard times it should be reducing parking fees, not making them ridiculously expensive.
Sitting on the beach is one of the few things we can do which doesn’t cost anything and can give great pleasure to any age group.
The city needs to encourage people into the town, not frighten them off elsewhere.
