Craven Vale Estate in Kemp Town was first built at the same time as the Queen was crowned - seems a good excuse for a Jubilee Street Party on Saturday June 2nd.
Activities suggested include a street magician, musicians, face-painting, a Queen for the day, costumes for past and present royalty, and a book of memories and archive photos by the original residents. The ‘Queen’ will be asked to declare open the new ‘Jubilee Walk’. An ideas event will be held on April 14th, at which many original residents will be invited.
Saturday April 14th – 11 am to 1 pm at the Vale Community Centre
