Is this the youngest pub landlady in Sussex?
Bobi Whitfield is only 21 years old but she has already stamped her personality on The Ark in West Quay, Newhaven.
Bobi, who went to Lewes Priory School in Mountfield Road, Lewes, started work in the pub trade when her dad got her a job as a waitress at the Hope Inn in Newhaven.
Bobi later graduated to pulling pints at The Ark and hasn’t looked back since.
She said the best thing about managing a pub is talking to the customers.
She said: “The things you hear working behind the bar you couldn’t make up. I should write a book one day.
“I just love talking to people and I also love the view from The Ark. There are not many jobs with a view like this.”
