A surf-mad teenager showed good form when he took to the waves in his birthday suit.
A-level student Jesal Pankhania was watched by his friends and elderly ladies as he enjoyed the waves in Worthing.
The 17-year-old said the water was very cold, adding: “I was not that embarrassed.”
He said his parents watched him take part in the five-minute stunt, but were not altogether impressed.
“They were sitting at the cafe and were furious,” he admitted.
Jesal, who attends Our Lady of Sion School in Gratwicke Road, Worthing, said he had been surfing for about three years.
“Something just came over me. I do crazy stuff lots. I have run through the town centre naked before.”
