TV legend Johnny Ball presented awards to students at a school ceremony. Johnny, the father of DJ Zoe, was at Shoreham College’s Speech Day where pupils received prizes for their work.
The children’s TV presenter wowed students with scientific demonstrations at the event.
He told the audience they could follow in the footsteps of Sir Isaac Newton. He said: “Like him you only need to read two books to go on to achieve greatness. It is just finding the right two books.”
Shoreham College headmaster Jim Stearns said: “I was thrilled to welcome Johnny Ball to Shoreham College as he was one of the reasons that I was inspired as a youngster. He certainly managed to do that with everyone on the day.”
