BETWEEN Monday, June 13 and Sunday, June 19, The Romans Pub in Southwick held a fundraising week for the Albion In The Community charity.
This included a quiz night, Spanish tapas and live music, bandaoke (the next step in karaoke), a football match with tug of war which was held at Portslade Sports Centre, a barbecue, raffle and an auction. A live band called Iron Tyger wrapped up the week on the Sunday.
All of these things helped us raise £1,250.
The management and staff of the pub would like to thank all those who contributed in any way, whether it was a donation, sponsoring one of the events or by coming down and getting involved personally. Thank you.
A special thank you must go to Legal And General, who generously doubled what we raised, making the total a fantastic £2,500.
