A woman is seriously ill in hospital after falling from a motorcycle.
The 44-year-old, from Portslade, was a pillion passenger on the bike.
She received a serious head injury after falling from it in Brighton Road, Shoreham, outside the Royal Coach public house, at 3.50pm yesterday.
She was taken by road to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton where her condition was described as serious but not life threatening.
The motorcyclist, a 53-year old Hove man, was unhurt and no other vehicle was involved.
