A nursery which was threatened with closure held a party to celebrate being saved.
Bright Start Nursery, in Barrack Yard, Brighton, was saved from the axe by Brighton and Hove City Council which overturned plans to take away £87,000 of funding.
The news that the nursery was to close caused outrage among parents and staff who marched through the city in protest.
The party took place on Friday with parents, union representatives and councillors invited.
