The American Express Community Stadium has seen its first action – as two Albion fans tied the knot.
A week ahead of the first game at the £100 million stadium in Falmer, Kevin Attwood and Sue King, from Shoreham, exchanged vows within view of the pitch.
They are the first couple to have their wedding at the stadium.
Mr Attwood said it was an “absolute dream come true”.
Brighton and Hove Albion will play their first league game at the new stadium on August 6 against Doncaster Rovers.
Before that there will be two “ramp-up” events, the first of which is the Sussex Senior Cup Final next week.
