Police have praised football fans after a hot, noisy but trouble-free end to Brighton and Hove Albion's last match at the Withdean Stadium.
As the 8,300 crowd dispersed at the end of the Albion's match against Huddersfield Town this afternoon, police report that there have been no incidents, arrests, or injuries.
Inspector Andy Kundert, match commander for Sussex Police, said: "The atmosphere was really good throughout and, together with the club with whom we have worked closely at Withdean for 12 years now, we thank the fans of both sides for their co-operation.
"We are already working with the club to help ensure that in the new era at the Amex Community Stadium everyone will be as safe and secure as they have been at Withdean."
