Preston Manor has added two new ghost hunting dates following sell-out success.
Running on Saturday, February 5 and Saturday, March 5, the night lasts from 8pm to 2am, costing £51, or £46 for members.
The night is spent exploring the house and finding out more about its spooky history before seeking out the haunted rooms to look for ghosts with medium Marc Richardson.
The most haunted house in Brighton, Preston Manor, has previously been visited by LIVINGtv’s Most Haunted, with the team reportedly experiencing one of their most active nights of paranormal activity.
The show’s host, Yvette Fielding, said: “We were thrilled by our experiences at Preston Manor” adding: “Our investigations were more than fully rewarded.”
A monastery is believed to have been on the current site in the Middle Ages before the house was built in 1600. It was altered in keeping with conventions of upper class Edwardian taste by Ellen Thomas-Stanford, owner from 1903-32. The grounds of the house contain an old-fashioned walled garden and family pets’ graveyard.
The ghost investigations are recommended only for “serious enthusiasts and the seriously brave” and thus, are for over 18s only. Advance booking is required. To book, telephone 03000 290902.
