Two separate incidents of physical aggression and use of foul language by a parent have been reported at Moulsecoomb Primary School in the past week.
Incidents include a parent hitting a member of the school community, use of abusive language towards a member of staff and an adult shouting at someone else’s child.
The school has warned that such behavior within the school grounds is “unacceptable and will not be tolerated".
In a newsletter yesterday, Moulsecoomb Primary stated that anyone who is abusive towards a member of staff or a child will first receive a warning and then be banned from entering the school site if their behavior continues.
The school stated: “All members of the school community be they adults or children have the right to come to school in safety and without fear of physical or verbal aggression.”
Further details of the incidents are as yet unknown.
