A celebration of work done to improve the health of people living in Brunswick and Regency will be held next month.
Groups who have carried out health improving projects in the area over the past year will present their work to the community.
These include:
- ear acupuncture sessions for people dealing with drug and alcohol misuse and people with mental health , anxiety , stress or depression problems. at the Cornerstone Community Centre run by Pathways to Health
- Brunswick Older People’s Project’s healthy activities at the St John’s Centre
- Lansdowne Area Residents Association’s environment improvement project
- The Friends of St Anns Wells Garden work to improve signage and promote the enjoyment of the park.
All these groups were given money by the Brunswick and Regency Neighbourhood Action Group and Brighton and Hove PCT / Novas Scarman Healthy Neighbourhoods Fund.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 5 from midday to 2pm at the Cornerstone Community Centre in Palmeira Square.
