Four convicted hooligans are being allowed back into football grounds in time for Albion's move to Falmer.
The men, who were all jailed after a mass brawl with Leeds supporters in 2004, are expected to sign acceptable behaviour contracts with Brighton and Hove Albion before the club will allow them to watch home matches.
Joseph Phillips, Richard Jeffrey, Ben Ripley, and David Hammond have successfully won approval from a judge to overturn football banning orders imposed after the violence.
They were barred from going to all league matches and from being at England games at home or abroad for seven years after being jailed for their part in violence in The Lanes, Brighton.
Phillips, 52, then of Springfield Road, Brighton, and Ripley, 39, then of Walker Close, Eastbourne, were jailed for two and a half years, while Hammond, 43, then of Merevale Road, Brighton, was jailed for two years and Jeffrey, 33, then of Valley Drive, Brighton, for 18 months.
