Healthwalks are free, short, social walks that are led by Volunteer Walk Leaders. They are designed to help people get the most out of walking for their physical and mental health; and also provide a great opportunity to meet new people. They are friendly and supportive, so are particularly benefical to those who are getting little or no exercise, recovering from illness or lacking in confidence.
The health walk at Wild Park happens on the second Monday of every month. The next walk being Monday 13 December 2010.
To join this walk, please meet at the Wild Park cafe at 10am.
Choose between a two mile walk with some hills (about one hour) or a buggy friendly route of one mile. Refreshments and toilets can be found at the Park Cafe. The park is on the 25 bus route, and there is free parking.
