There will be award winning food to sample at the St John’s Centre, Hove as part of the it’s “Big Info Day’ this Thursday the 25th of November.
The centre not only wants to give people a taste of its food but also the work it does for the over 60s in the community. The day will revolve around informing carers, the elderly and anybody else wishing to come to the centres impact initiatives programme.
People who attend will be shown and can partake in a sample of the activities the centre organises, from computer sessions to seated exercise techniques.
So if you’re an elderly person looking for more information on St John’s services, a professional in the field or are wishing to volunteer at the centre you can get information at St Johns Centre, Palmeria Square, Hove.
The day takes place between 10am-12:30pm and 1:30pm to 4:00pm. For more information call (01273) 729603 or email: stjohnscentre @impact-initiatives.org.uk By Cormac Reynolds
