Looking for Moons June Moon emails from Canada: "I am tracing my husband's family.
The Moon family, originated in Steyning but mostly lived in old Shoreham.
"Most of the family were baptised and married in St Nicholas's Church in Shoreham.
"Richard Scrase Moon married Elizabeth Smith of Peasmarsh in 1869.
They had a daughter, Kate, born in Shoreham and then moved to Kent, where they had four more children.
"Richard's brothers were: George, who married Ellen Lidbetter and moved to Croydon; Charles, who married Sarah Smith (Elizabeth's sister) and stayed in Shoreham; and Edward, who married Mary Jane Bishop and also remained in Shoreham.
"Their father was Charles Moon, who married another Sarah Smith and lived and died in Shoreham.
"If anyone could help me find living relatives of these families it would be most appreciated.
