Karl D Hurd emails in search of his father: "I was born on December 4, 1960, in Eastbourne.
"My mother and father separated before I was a year old and I moved up here to the west coast of Scotland.
"All the information I have about my father is just what is on my birth certificate and, as my mother has passed away, I have no other means of getting any more information "My father was named as George Frederick Hurd, 57a Avondale Road, Eastbourne.
"He was working at that time as a hospital mortuary attendant.
"My mother's maiden name was Lambert. I would be glad for any help your readers can give me."
