"My name is Jaigris Phillips. I was born Jaigris Nadia Hodson-Klein in the UK on February 1, 1979, to parents Alix Hodson and Johann Klein. They decided to take Hodson-Klein as our family name.

"When I was only one, however, my mother flew from the UK to British Columbia, Canada, to be near her family. Though I do not know the details of her separation from my father, I know they loved me and did what they felt was best.

"I have never met my father, though I have often wondered about him and whether he thinks of me. One day I typed his name into an internet search, and was surprised to find an article in your paper.

"On Thursday, June 14, 2001, The Argus published a story about a disabled pilot's emergency landing during an air show.

One of the sources quoted for this story, Johann Hodson-Klein, may be my father.

"I am writing in the hope somebody can help me find more information about this man. If he is my father, he may be interested to know what happened to me.

"I am married and may have children of my own. Knowing my family history would help me take care of them. I would appreciate any information about this story or the PremiAir flying club." jaigris.phillips@community.royalroads.ca
