A mother disturbed two late-night intruders in her home.

The woman shouted at two men who had sneaked upstairs in her house and they ran off but not before taking two mobile phones and an iPod from the home in Aldbourne Drive, Bognor at 4.30am on Friday.

The woman had thought it was her children making the noise before she saw one of the burglars shining a torch.

Two men were later seen attempting to steal a Peugeot in the same street and police are linking the incidents.

The first man is described as white, late teens and 5’10’ while the second man is described as mixed race, also in his late teens and 5’10’.
