Thousands of people enjoyed a day at the races and raised money for charity at the same time.
The Argus teamed up with Brighton Racecourse for the third Argus Family Fun Day yesterday. People of all ages flocked to the course to enjoy the entertainment on offer.
As well as having a flutter on the horses, other activities included bouncy castles, face-painting, bungee trampolines and giant sumo wrestling.
Helium-filled balloons and free ice-lollies were handed out.
The Argus Press Gang was out in force and arranged plenty of fun and games to keep people entertained throughout the afternoon.
All proceeds from the event will go to The Argus Appeal, which helps good causes across Sussex.
Appeal coordinator Elsa Gillio said: "We had a wonderful turnout. This event is always great fun. We'd like to thank everyone who took part, helped with the organisation or came along on the day to make it such a success."
