A tax consultancy firm, which counts premiership footballers among its clients, has been named Tax Specialist of the Year.

SRC Taxation Consultancy Limited, which is based at Blenheim House in the Old Steine, scooped the title at this year’s Sage Accountant Awards, held recently in London.

Steve Crouch, founder and director of SRC said: “The award is a reflection of all the hard work that we have put in over the years in terms of the training we give people here.

“We invest a good deal of resources in staff training and keeping up-to-date with all the latest tax developments.”

According to Crouch, the award win comes on the back of an exciting period of growth for the tax specialists. Over the last five years it has trebled in size and now employs 15 staff. It will open a Hove branch by the end of the year.
