Brighton and Hove Albion manager Mark McGhee has issued a rallying cry to fans ahead of Monday's March For Falmer.
The Seagulls boss knows all about the power of the crowd after 30,000 fans cheered his team to victory in the 2004 play-off final in Cardiff.
And he wants another mammoth effort from supporters on what will be the finale of the Falmer For All campaign.
John Prescott will be in town with his Government colleagues at the Labour Party conference.
McGhee says the Deputy Prime Minister should be left in no doubt about saying yes to the 22,000-seat stadium after the demonstration.
The Albion pulled off a minor miracle last season by avoiding relegation from the Championship after they had to sell key players due to the club's cash crisis.
But McGhee warned the club could not continue at that level without the new stadium.
He said: "The feeling around this city is starting to be frustration. We're another year on and there's still no decision.
"But we've not lost enthusiasm.
"The chairman hasn't, the supporters haven't and the people in the city haven't.
"I think people in Brighton more and more want this stadium, so this march is a huge opportunity to get out there and demonstrate to the Government how keen we are and how passionate we are about it.
"The fact is that there is a Championship club in Sussex and the people who want to support us - those who come and those who can't because of the size of Withdean - deserve modern facilities.
"They deserve modern treatment in the day and age of the Olympics coming to this country.
"There should be a stadium here where people can at the very least have a roof over their heads.
"The idea that people must sit out in the pouring rain week in, week out, is ridiculous in the modern age."
Mr Prescott will give his verdict on the Falmer application sometime before October 31.
The club identified Falmer as its preferred site for the new community stadium in 1999.
The six-year planning saga has been one of the most drawn-out public inquiries in history.
Supporters are being urged to meet at the Sea Life Centre at 5.30pm.
Up to 5,000 people are expected at the march, which will finish at the Brighton Centre.
