Life has been manic for us McCanns the past few weeks but a lovely surprise came when we managed two straight weeks of 9pm until 5am sleeping!
We have struggled with the lack of routine and a few weeks ago at Baby Expo we met with a sleep trainer who gave us a copy of her book. We read, took note and implemented some of the suggestions in her book.
I feel like this is a turning point for us. I return to work in two weeks now and didn't want to be tired and with no fire on my return to work. I want to be full of enthusiasm and energy!
We had the first settling in session at nursery and we both coped well without each other.
So Mums - is it always the way to feel guilty even though baby is happy in the company of others or is it like a drug - sometimes you need the withdrawal?
