Am I right to believe fires between the piers are forbidden? If so, why does the beach officer not enforce it?
Nearly every evening, there is at least one blazing fire burning pallets and other large items and it is often still going the next day when I pass at about 8am.
I must say the beach cleaners do an excellent job, though, considering the rubbish lazy people leave behind.
