Brighton's original leftfield music session, which began way back in 1987, has got to be one of the longest-running club nights on Earth.
Its founder and resident DJ Russ Dewbury has organised a party-filled weekend to celebrate 15 years of consecutive nights at its home, The Jazz Place.
He promises two nights of classic Jazz Rooms action, both live and on vinyl, showcasing the cream of today's underground dance jazz scene.
Coming from the same pack as Gilles Peterson, Russ hosted the first Jazz Rooms in the basement of the Churchill Palace Hotel (now Casablanca) in 1987.
Four years later, it moved to its current home.
He says: "Big respect and love to everybody who has been involved with and supported us over the years. You've undoubtedly been the best crowd around and I hope you can join us to celebrate."
Tonight, the Jazz Rooms goes live for a one-off special at Sussex Arts Club. Eddie Roberts will perform with his new live project, Roughneck.
One of the UK's finest jazz and funk guitarists, Eddie is best known for his New Mastersounds funk outfit, which has won him fans including Gilles Peterson and Mr Scruff.
In his latest seven-piece collective, he shows off his jazzier side. 9pm-2am, £7-£6. Call 01273 778020. Buy a ticket for this and get free entry before midnight to tomorrow's session at the Jazz Place.
There, Russ will be joined by guest DJs playing jazz, soul, funk, Latin and afrobeat. Live vocals will come from Lizzie Rendell, as well as percussion from a ten-piece samba band.
