Pete Stephenson is putting a brave face on his fake Big Brother prison ordeal.

The Brighton singer is one of the housemates supposedly being held in a mock jail on the Channel 4 programme.

What the other contestants do not know is that they have secret access to a luxury hideaway where there is lavish food and alcohol.

One odd regulation is that they must eat every last morsel of their bland prison porridge and many are struggling.

All whinged apart from Pete, who spooned in the foul food and sarcastically groaned: "Yum, yum, yum."

Imogen asked hopefully: "Say another prisoner eats my food, is that allowed?"

Pete replied: "I ain't eating it."

The "prisoners" discovered the luxury hideaway late on Tuesday night.

Convicts have access to a hidden spa, sand, surfboards and cocktails.

When they found it, Pete and Glyn immediately got into the spirit, putting on straw hats and climbing on the surfboard.

But if the guards in the main house find out about the retreat, they lose their food budget and fail the task.
