Thousands of pounds worth of equipment went missing after Fatboy Slim's gig in Italy.
Three cases of equipment worth £17,000, used to display visuals on a giant screen behind the DJ, disappeared at Milan airport.
They were booked on to an easyJet flight last Saturday by visuals engineer Tim Fleming. Mr Fleming, 30, of King's Gardens, Hove, had been performing with Fatboy Slim, real name Norman Cook, at Milan's Flippout Festival.
They are due to perform at the Global Gathering Festival in Stratford-upon-Avon tomorrow.
Mr Fleming said: "If we don't get these back for Global Gathering it will be a nightmare. I'll have to hire new equipment but the stuff inside one of those cases is irreplaceable. It contains equipment I have been collecting over the past five years specific to the live shows.
"I have been in contact with the chief pilot at easyJet and chief baggage handler at the airport. Thanks to their efforts I hope to have it all back with me in the next 24 hours."
