The housemates were woken to a medley of friendship songs yesterday.
They had to hug their best friend all the time the music was playing and were treated to ten songs played back-to-back.
Brighton rocker Pete Stephenson, who is favourite to win the show, is paired with Canadian housemate Richard, an eviction veteran who has survived the Big Brother boot four times.
He hugged Richard, who was popping in his contact lenses, as Thank You For Being A Friend was played.
Pete, Mikey and Glyn had been busy showing each other their own dance moves, arms and legs all over the place, when Big Brother reminded them they had to hug their best friend for the duration of the songs.
But after a touchy-feely weekend the housemates are about to discover some rough justice. Later this week they will be locked in a secret prison where they will be fingerprinted, asked to carry out laborious tasks and allowed back into the main house only twice a day.
They will be fed three basic meals a day and must wear their prison uniforms at all times.
Big Brother has boasted that the prison will make this week the most twisted yet.
