Albion expect their injury worries to ease in time for their trip to Colchester tonight.
But it promises to be another intriguing night for travelling fans as Mark McGhee surveys his clutch of trialists.
Gary Hart and Alex Revell, both of whom missed Friday's defeat to Le Havre, could be back in action.
Hart hurt his neck in training while Revell has been suffering from a sore Achilles as he steps up his training to meet the demands of full-time football.
Adam Hinshelwood could also get a run as he recovers from what physio Malcolm Stuart described as a "slight tweak" to a knee.
Assistant manager Bob Booker said: "We hope to have a few of the injured players back in. Harty, Alex and Adam will look to pay a part tonight.
"That will be a big bonus having lost them from the game in France."
