Mark McGhee today admitted his hard-working senior goalkeepers are giving him a tough selection decision for the new season.

Wayne Henderson and Michel Kuipers appear to be neck and neck in the race to start the League One campaign between the posts at Rotherham on August 5.

Henderson was the man in possession at the end of last season but Kuipers' re-introduction to the squad after a spell at Boston has been one of the successes of pre-season and he looks better than ever.

Asked about his keepers, McGhee said: "We've not made that decision yet.

"They both have different strengths, they have both worked very, very hard over the pre-season.

"They have worked well with each other as well as by themselves.

"We have three more games now before we have to make that decision.

"It will be a tough one to make, there's no doubt about it."

Both keepers did their bit to restrict dominant Le Havre to a 2-0 win on Friday.

Henderson produced a first-minute block from Jean-Michel Lesage and Kuipers made two reaction saves from Kandia Traore after being introduced at the break.

Kuipers said: "I try to work as hard as possible in training and it's nice if you can do it with the other goalkeepers.

"We've got Wayne Henderson, Richard Martin and John Sullivan and of course Keelo (goalkeeping coach John Keeley), who I've known for many years.

"I want to help them and they want to help me."

Albion go to Colchester tomorrow, a Seagulls XI play Crawley on Thursday before they finish at MK Dons on Friday.
