The lack of square meals in the Big Brother house has been providing housemates with food for thought.

Tempers have steadily risen since Jayne's constant rulebreaking led to severe rationing of the food budget.

Brighton contestant Pete Stephenson revealed he was feeling the hunger as he chatted with Aisleyne and Mikey about the shortage.

"Which one of us would you eat?" asked Pete, licking his lips.

"Richard," said Mikey. "He'd be good meat."

Pete then told Aisleyne: "I'm looking at you and I'm seeing a big, juicy chicken leg."

"A nice bit of thigh?" asked Aisleyne.

A starving Spiral and Michael cornered Susie when they discovered she had the only chocolate left in the house.

They begged for a piece but the lady was not for turning.

Susie replied: "It's my period chocolate. I'm saving it for then. I've held on to mine and saved it for when I need it. I am the only one with some left and I'm not opening it." Jayne and Richard have been nominated for Big Brother eviction this week.

The pair will face the public vote on Friday.

The housemates have had enough of Jayne's persistent rule breaking.
