Former world boxing champion Chris Eubank will be tried on his 40th birthday for careless driving and failing to stop after an accident.
Magistrates issued a summons for Eubank to appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on August 8 for the trial, expected to last one day.
Eubank is being prosecuted for an alleged incident last November.
The case was listed yesterday after being adjourned twoice before but Eubank failed to appear. The court had previously been told it was likely he had not yet been informed of legal proceedings.
The address for Eubank give in court was Upper Drive, Hove, where he no longer lives.
