The dangerous craze of "tombstoning" is sweeping Sussex.
The practice of jumping from great heights into shallow water popular among teenagers has become a regular occurence at Shoreham harbour.
Lifeboat crew and port bosses are horrified to see groups of boys jumping about 50ft into low waters from light towers.
A spokesman for the Port Authority said: "We can't stress enough how dangerous it is. They've no idea how much water there is, or about currents and undercurrents, and there's probably debris lying around in there."
RNLI crew member Rob Cullen took this picture from the lifeboat station.
He said the young men were playing a very dangerous game.
