With reference to your article on tuk-tuks (The Argus, July 11), these vehicles are not taxis and do not operate as, and I quote "a new taxi service".
You then state they "run like a bus service". Confused? I am.
The people of Brighton and Hove must not hail these vehicles as they are not licensed to stop.
The drivers have not undergone criminal records checks and I would advise any female not to travel alone in one at night. Who is driving them?
Have they public liability insurance? What type of licence do you need to drive them?
