Part of the flourishing Leeds music scene which has already produced the likes of the Kaiser Chiefs and The Cribs, Forward Russia have been filling floors with their catchy disco punk.
Having formed in 2004 and been championed by Radio 1 and XFM, hype for the four-piece saw both their limited edition EPs sell out the same week they went on sale.
The band, who name their songs only with numbers, have supported the likes of The Editors, Biffy Clyro and The Subways, while this summer they have slots on the Truck Festival in Oxford and the NME Stage at Reading and Leeds.
Their debut album Give Me A Wall, which they released on their own label Dance To The Radio in May, received rave reviews and notched up more stars than a class swot.
Staying with the digital theme, they release their new single 18 on July 24.
Tickets cost £7, call 01273 673311.
