Summer Nights is a series of outdoor concerts in some of the UK's most historic settings.

At Petworth you can picnic in a Capability Brown landscape, while taking in some big name bands.

First up in the series is Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.

The 18-piece band now play an average of 100 live shows a year and will be joined by special guests Sam Brown and Ruby Turner.

Operatic quartet Il Divo, famed for their tonsil-twisting take on Toni Braxton's Unbreak My Heart, sing on Saturday night.

During the past 18 months the band, who were formed after a worldwide search which took more than two years, have seen their style of accessible opera take off, with their album hitting the number one spot in 26 different countries.

Sunday night sees a performance from the now-elusive Mick Hucknall and Simply Red. After a string of hits over the years - Holding Back the Years, If You Don't Know Me By Now and Something Got Me Started - Mick is now releasing a new album packed with re-recorded versions of their classic hits as well as new material.

All start at 7.30pm, tickets prices vary. Call 0870 400 0750 or visit www.summernightsonline.co.uk.
