Early on Thursday, June 15, my cat, Gizmo, was hit by a car in the Fox Way area.

I want to say a heartfelt thankyou to the person who stopped after seeing this and took her to the vets on Valley Road.

If you hadn't, she would have died, her injuries were so horrific.

Thankfully, she is now home, although sadly blind as a result.

She means the world to me and you, along with the wonderful vets at Grove Lodge and New Priory, saved her.

Thank you all so much.
