All we ever hear about the NHS is doom and gloom.
However, having recently had the pleasure of dealing with the maternity staff at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, I have nothing but praise for them.
They are so friendly and professional in everythng they do.
Labour can be a traumatic and frightening experience but the staff were always on hand to reassure both of us.
The midwives were fantastic both during labour and with the home visits.
With their help, they made the whole experience of becoming a parent even more enjoyable than we had thought possible.
A big thank you goes to the two Alis, Sarah and their colleagues on Wards 12 and 13. You are all a credit to your profession.
