So Brighton and Hove City Council is aware Hollingdean residents have concerns (The Argus, June 21) and assure us these issues have been thoroughly investigated and it is not in their interest to put anyone's health at risk.
I am a Hollingdean resident. I am also a 63-year-old Brightonian and an asthmatic.
Over the past ten years, my asthma has become increasingly worse, largely owing to the increase in levels of pollution.
I was the only child with asthma. Now I understand it is one in six children who suffer from this disease.
Perhaps the council can enlighten the thousands of asthma sufferers in this town about exactly what investigations have been made on their behalf and what they intend to do to remedy this situation, other than to kill us off with an increased volume of traffic.
