A list of candidates to sit on the board of Brighton and Hove's first Business Improvement District (BID) has been announced.
Ballot papers have been sent to businesses in the BID who have until June 30 to choose who they want to represent their interests.
There will be eight board members; three from North Laine, three from The Lanes and two, who have already been decided, from North Street.
They will be responsible for delivering £1 million worth of projects over the next five years. Those who have put their name forward for nomination in North Laine are: Ed Birch, of The One 40 Five Store in Sydney Street, Emma Carpenter, of Silverado in Kensington Gardens, Andy Connell, of Wild Cat in Gardner Street, Andrew Fisher, of Pokeno Pies in Gardner Street, Helen McCarthy, of Tickled in Gardner Street, Grenville Nation, of Ananda in Bond Street, Donna Rix-Martin, of Hell's Kitchen in Gardner Street and Philip Thompson, of Moda & Soda in Gardner Street.
And in The Lanes; Sue Addis, of Donatello in Brighton Place, Nick Hill of Ollie & Nic in Market Street, Amanda Jones, of Mint Leaf Cafe in Meeting House Lane, Sangita Ladwa of Indigo Roses in Brighton Place, Simon Leigh-Jones, of English's in East Street, Anastasios Tsakonis, of End of Lanes Cafe in Meeting House Lane and Dave Williams, of Lanes Health & Beauty in Market Street.
For North Street Mike White, from Specsavers and Jennifer Lacoste, from Mango were appointed to the board.
