A musical set in and around a late-Sixties barbershop, Clippings deals with topics of love, marriage, alcoholism, and gambling.
Mike Saunders and Ian White's music covers styles from Sixties guitar pop to jazz, via classical and Latin-influenced numbers. The show is sung-through, with musical backing throughout.
With his barbershop at the height of its success, Ben falls in love with Maisie. As Ben slides into gambling and drinking, their relationship and the business begin to fall apart. It is up to Ben's business partner Lance and new stylist Angie to try to save the salon.
Starts 8pm, tickets cost £13-£15. Call 01403 750220.
