Britain's oldest mother-to-be showed off her bump in her public.
Dr Patricia Rashbrook, 62, of High Street, Lewes, was spotted out in the sunshine on Wednesday.
The baby, which is due in mid-July, was conceived after IVF treatment in Italy.
Dr Rashbrook already has three children aged 26, 22 and 18 from her first marriage but it will be her academic husband John Farrant's first child.
The couple have attracted much criticism but said they were delighted with the pregnancy.
Dr Rashbrook said when the news became public that the decision had not been taken lightly.
She said: "I don't feel too old.
"This is not about craving a baby at any price. It is about wanting a child with the man I love."
