One minute the Government is going on about greenhouse gases and the next it insists more houses should be built in the South, where we don't have the roads to cope with the extra traffic they would bring and rainwater would just go down their drains instead of soaking into the ground to top up the underground water supply.
Why aren't the estates which are boarded up in the North and Midlands put back into use? I'm certainly not racist but the time has come to stop all immigration and look after our own people.
The rest of Europe has much larger areas available for building and far better road systems.
Here in Woodingdean, back gardens are being sold off and where once there were one-sided cul-desacs, these are now being extended and built on both sides without any thought for the residents and parking problems.
