For the past two years, Sadstock has given Brighton's melancholy acts a platform - and a chance for unfulfilled souls to be miserable together.
However, this year the mood of promoters The Gilded Palace Of Sin has lightened. "Even our jaded, cynical minds are turning to thoughts of summer," they say. So they have chosen ten local bands to "warm our hearts and make our imaginary suns shine" on a summer Sunday afternoon.
On the bill are Actress Hands, Homescience, Hornblower Brothers, Leader, The Magic Bullet Band, Oddfellows Casino, Poppycocks, The Robot Heart, Paul Steel and Winteria.
Each band will play for about 30 mins, so go on, give us a smile.
