A waitress, a bodyguard and a recent graduate are the three golden ticket holders from Sussex who could enter the Big Brother house today.

Housemates will tonight pick a lotto ball from a machine to determine who will join them.

As yet identified only by their Christian names, Eva, from Lancing, Simon, from Eastbourne, and Stuart, from Fernhurst, will be among 35 ticket holders standing on the Big Brother stage before one walks into the house on the live show at 10pm.

Eva, 22, previously auditioned for the seventh round of the show. She said she did not fancy any of the house mates but her boyfriend was so nervous he was biting his nails down.

She said she wanted to bring more fun to the house but was worried how she would fit in, describing herself as very loud.

Stuart, who has just completed a degree in Chinese medicine, decided to enter "just for a laugh" when he found the ticket in a Kit-Kat wrapper. Security guard Simon, 35, was given the ticket by his wife. He said he wants to instil some discipline into the housemates and he feels the house lacks a "real man".
